The story of Amber Academy takes place on the continent of Lesam. It is a small continent that is cut off from the outside world, but it houses some of the greatest technologies such as Airships and Virtual Simulation. Both designed by the ancient civilization of Canon.

Lesam is a mid-sized island with a vast desert to the west and a mountain range cutting though the middle. Forests surround the mountain range and rivers run down from the peaks of the snow caps. The highest peak of the island is Mt. Krom. Amber Academy was created in a clean cut field. Students arrive to the academy via boat or on special occasions an airship. There are dangerous monsters running about, but they tend to leave the school alone unless provoked.

Amber Academy - An ancient school where students are taught to fight off the monsters and the skills that are needed in order to save their villages.

Canon Ruins - The ruins of an old civilization. It was advanced in both technology and magic. It came to an unfitting end when it was consumed by the demon Iagi. There is a lot of hidden information lying around the ruins and it is a scholars paradise. Raziel found the blueprints for the airships there.

Cruz Forest - A large forest to the north east of Amber Academy. It is darker than the other forests and a lot more tropical with the plants. There are a lot of plant based monsters and rather large bugs. The heart of it is a day away from Amber Academy.

Cape Kelinis - A rocky beach. It is suggested that you leave boats a few miles away from the cape as it is swarming with different types of aquatic monsters. It is the very southern tip of the island. It is about two days by boat or four by land.

Laydon Desert - A dry, Savannah like desert located to the west of the Lesarn continent. There are a few small oasis that are located around the desert. Earth and fire elemental monsters are common in the area as well as bandits, snakes, and scorpion type monsters. It is about four days from Amber Academy.

Mt. Krom - The highest peak on Lesarn. Even beginner climbers can take one of the scaled out paths. Monsters however favor these paths, because they are indeed easy to climb. Flying type and hoofed creatures find shelter in the crevices in the rocks. It takes three day to climb due to the altitude. Base camps are already set up.



More places will be added with new missions.

Dorms - All dorm buildings are identical except for the inside furnishings and color schemes. They include a large commons area which can be used by all students for whatever purpose. There are single and double rooms. Each room has its own small kitchen and students are responsible for their own meals.

Nanda - The headmaster's personal living quarters. It includes a large circular office which overlooks the rest of the campus, and is the highest point of the school. The amber wolf statue is happily housed in the center of the room.

Master of Magi Office - It is one of the newer locations in the school, added by the previous headmaster so magic students could have some extra guidance. It is in the corner of the library, usually dark and lit by candles.

Library - Books, Books Everywhere. The library is large and has information on just about any subject. One of the most useful items is the monster book. There is a large master copy which updates all of the handbooks when it is written in. Rosa Peaks, the librarian, is a bit senile and is usually sleeping. Her assistant and Amos usually handles all of the work.

Hospital - Students get hurt. Amos, Rhea, and the Chairmen heal them. Like any hospital it is brightly lit and really clean. If needed, they will bring in a good doctor to care for the students. But the Chairmen and Amos are usually competent enough.

Armory and Stables - The shops are run by Raz, the womanizing older brother of Amos. Here students can buy any advancements to weapons and technology as well as a new mount or fighting partner.

Trader - A small general shop and cafe for the students. They can bring anything interesting they find to the trader and sell it. Magicians can buy ingredients for potions here.
